Thessaloniki
Greece – that seems to be just another word for paradise. It means thinking about a world of islands, the contrast of dark blue sea with shining white houses, fresh goat’s cheese and delicious cuisine, marked by the taste of the incomparable olive oil; sweet Greek wine and ouzo; thousands of years old ruins shining bright below the sun. This Mediterranean country, birth-place of democracy, has much to offer for its visitors. But whilst its capital Athens and islands such as Crete or Corfu are already an integral part of each travel agency’s programme, one city still remains a little bit neglected by tourism... without any reason: Discover Thessaloniki - and get enchanted!
